Hi, My name is Caprice. I am 20 years old. I have volunteered at a care centre for almost 10 years. I have graduated from secondary school and have received my French Immersion certificate. I love children and I am currently taking a a year off to explore the field of childcare further. I have plans to study Early Childhood Education or furthering my education to teacher\'s college in the near future. I babysit for many different people that have children from the ages newborn to 10 years old. I love interacting and spending time with children. I find that there is always something new to learn about them and their personalities. I am a strong believer in interactive and learning games that also emphasize their imagination and creativity. I have had previous childcare jobs, I used to volunteer at Trent Child Care Centre and was there for about five to six years. I used to care for 2 children every weekend for 8 to 12 hour days, providing them with nutritional meals, healthy snacks as well as always having activities and games for them to stay occupied. I was caring for a 1 year old and a 7 year old, a large age difference as well as keeping them preoccupied with different tasks that they both enjoyed. At the daycare I was in charge of caring for children and being a helping hand around the class room and playground, duties such as playing, feeding, changing, also putting children down for naps.
