Nanny in Montreal, Quebec

Hi my name is Amanda and I currently work with the English Montreal School Board and have been employed with them for 4 years now. I have my DEC in Child Studies and am currently studying at Concordia University to obtain my degree in Child Studies as I would like to work in the education field as a student aid in the classroom with students who may have special needs. I also volunteer at my church in the children\'s program and I am in charge of the children program for our event planning team when our church has special events. During high school and CEGEP I worked as a babysitter for a few families for about 4 years consistently and have babysat up to three children at once. Working for a school, I am always off during the Christmas and march break and have the summer off for about a month and a half and I would like to be able to help out a family that would need a babysitter during that time. My hours can be flexible and it would be on a part-time basis, but if you need me full-time we could discuss that as well. Looking forward to working with you! Amanda When I used to babysit, I would usually come during the evenings and sometimes take care of supper duties and put the kids to bed. When I would babysit during the summer I would take care of lunch, would take the children outside to the park, go for small walks, if they had a pool we would go swimming. I am a very strong swimmer as I have been swimming since I was 4 years old and I continue to do so at my own leisure. I would do activities with the kids during the day and make sure they did not always sit in front of the TV. But if it was nice out, I would try and make sure we maximized on their play time outside.
