Hi! My name is Alannah, and I'm the big sister every kid wishes for. I am 18 years old, and graduated high school in June of 2012. Before I head off to University, I'm looking for a job that is meaningful to occupy my time, and make an impact on as many lives as I can. What makes me the best big sister? I have 4 siblings under the age of 8 who seem to think I'm pretty cool. As a big sister, my job is to be the best friend, tutor, story teller, and role model. It also includes assisting mommy with household duties to lighten the load and spread the smiles. I have been responsible for infants and children, with at least 8 years experience. I grew up with a teacher for a parent and think educational games can be the most fun. I am also dedicated to living a healthy, active lifestyle and strive to eat clean and work hard. As for myself, I am taking 2 years off school to do something meaningful and exciting. I am hoping to persue a career as a doctor, and my dream is to speciaize in palliative care and oncology. As a big sister, I am often responsible for the little guys, helping with everything from changing dirty diapers and clothes, to cooking dinner and bath time. I assist in getting the kids dressed, fed, and off to school in the mornings as well as picking them up from school and assisting with homework. I am their tutor, story teller, and role model. I have been playing mommy to my young siblings for 8 years, and consider myself well equipped to handle all of the giggles and tears they can throw at me. Throughout high school i was also the neighbourhood babysitter, looking after the local kids on date nights.
