Hi! I\'m Brad and I’m currently working on becoming a paramedic and certified in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language). Most of my work experience has been working with students in grades K-12 around British Columbia. However, I do have about 5 years experience in babysitting. As a teenager, I completed a Babysitting Training course which began my work in childcare. My first experiences with babysitting were for my neighbors in my hometown. The youngest child for which I\'ve had to care was 2-years-old with the eldest being around 10. I have worked with kids in junior high and high school though at work going on field trips so I am open to working with kids of those ages as well. Most of my duties as a babysitter have included playing with the children or accompanying them on play-dates and cooking and/or giving the children snacks while being mindful of their allergies. Occasionally I have had to administer medicine to children who were sick while they were left in my care. I\'m also open to doing laundry and cleaning which I have had to do on a few occasions for some children, especially during the potty training stages. I am quite enthusiastic about cooking and enjoy it very much. In my spare time I love to experiment with different bread-baking methods and curry recipes. If you’d like to raise little bakers, I’d love to help. Baking is a surprisingly simple and safe art to master, even in childhood, and I love to share my knowledge on the subject with others. When I’m not studying, working, or baking, I enjoy drumming or reading classical Russian literature at the public library. Hi!
