Nanny in Vancouver, British Columbia

Hi families! My name is Erin, I'm 20 years old and finishing my 3rd year studying English Literature at McGill University. I'm from Calgary but will be staying in Richmond for the summer, and I'm looking for live-out nannying or babysitting positions. I have been working in childcare since 2011 and it is by far the profession that I'm most passionate about. From babysitting my own siblings & neighbourhood kids to volunteering at the Sisters of Charity Orphanage & Nursery in Haiti, or working with at-risk youth in Montreal's group homes, I have gained valuable experience and skills working with children from all backgrounds, of all ages, and all abilities. I also volunteered at the Calgary Public Library for two years as both a Ready Buddy & Computer Buddy teaching literacy and technology skills to children that wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity and volunteered with the South Calgary Ringette Association to run practices for the younger teams. Finally, I love the outdoors, art, music, baking, cooking and even cleaning - I am more than happy to complete household chores and extra tasks around the home.
