Hi. I would describe myself as being comfortable to be around. I mind my own business, I have ethics so I won't steal from you, and I am not one to judge someone's personality. However, I will not tolerate excessively spoiled children, and I prefer to speak my mind over certain issues that may arise( e.i. something I strongly disagree about. I would rather have a discussion about an issue, airing it out. I am open to being of assistance in other ways as well, such as doing light cleaning or running errands. I have had experience with three children. Two of those children were my sisters, and one was a boy, whom i took care of a lot whilst doing housekeeping, laundry, and cooking in my employers home. Firstly, concerning my sisters,I was around when both of them were born. When they were infants,I helped feed them with bottles( helped them burp), i changed their diapers, and I bathed them. As they grew older I fed them soft foods,and babysat them a lot. I would also entertain them when they cried out of frustration. I made sure they got water,food,a change of diapers and a blanket according to their need. Also, I am familiar with baby seats. They are both older now, eight and five,and I understand how that children of that age have a need for comforting arms, special attention, and firm yet fair discipline. Secondly,the boy I helped to take care of was four to seven years old during the time that I was there. He was very rambunctious and hard to handle, but I tried to keep him safe, happy, and healthy. I talked him into eating his food, I would play toys with him to boost his interest in his toys,and I let him help me with my work,trying to teach him to do things properly; I gave him medicine when he was feverish, taught him to be kind to animals and bathed him. I know I don't completely understand children, but I am willing to learn more as I work with them.
