Nanny in Barrie, Ontario

Hey there my name is Samantha, I\'m 20 years old and interested in finding a job as live-out nanny or a babysitter. k want to work in child care as a career and feel something like this would be a great experience. I took one year at Georgian College studying Child and Youth Work and plan on continuing my education next September. I love the outdoors and would rather spend time with the kids outside rather than sitting inside. I would be comfortable caring for more than one child at a time and I love animals and pets! I am not available until May but I will be available pretty much anytime. I don't have any formal paid experience with children. But, I have done a co-op in an elementary school. I worked in a grade six classrom and a grade 2 classroom. I helped the kids with their work and worked with them individually and in groups. I also supervised them during nutrition breaks and when the teachers were not in the classroom. I also completed one year at Georgian College studying Child and Youth Work and plan on continuing my education next September.
