Hello!My name is Pam and I am interested in working with children and youth. I ran the Allo Matin breakfast club at Better Beginnings Better Futures for 9mths. Served breakfast to school age children from Junior kindergarden to grade 8. I have two children myself who are 7&9 therefore have plenty of experience with all ages. As well I have been babysitting children since I was 12 years old and have a passion for it. I took the Social Service Worker Program at Cambrian College and Plan on working with children and youth once i graduate. I have completed the schooling part of the program and simply have to complete a 4mth placement to graduate I am therefore looking for employment so I can save the money and complete the Program. I love to knit and crochet. I also LOVE arts&crafts and ALWAYS do arts&crafts with the children who reside in my neighborhood. I love to bake and cook easy meals which children can participate in. I am VERY patient when it comes to children. I love to read and create original stories with children. I like the outdoors and I am a BIG believer in being active for minimum 2hours a day while children are in my care. While in the Social Service Program I completed a 4 week placement at a Home for Adults with physical and mental disabilities. I also have family members who are autistic and have tourettes therefore have been around these types. I am non judgemental and open to anything new I am a quick learner willing to learn whatever I need to get the job done safely and properly.
