Hello, to anyone who is reading this. Here is a little about myself and why I would be the perfect fit for your family. I have an abundance of experience with children and if you were to ask anyone who knows me, it is what I am meant to do. Some people are amazing athletes, some people are mathematicians, my calling has always been working with children. I am incredibly patient and level headed, which is so key to caring for children. I love to do activities with children whether it be something gross motor, fine motor, cognitive, artistic etc.. I feel that as long as a child is having fun and learning they have fewer opportunities to exhibit negative behaviour. That is why I always have activities to do, and keep children busy having fun. I have great behaviour management skills for times where children may act out and I have a completely hands off approach. (I do apologize but at a past interview I was asked to spank the children if they misbehaved, this is something I am not comfortable with and will not do) If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask me. I have worked with children for over years. I began babysitting as soon as I turned 12, and babysat consistenly for over 8 years without having a gap of more then a month at any time. I have cared for children ranging in ages from newborn up to 12 years old. I have also worked as a nanny for a family with 3 children aged 11 months, 3 and 8. I completed the ECE program at Durham College with honours and have experience working in a daycare with toddlers and preschool aged children. Lastly I have helped raise my nephew since he was a newborn, taking a very active role, right from as soon as he was born. Him and his mother have lived with me since that time. I do also have experience working with children with Autism.
