Hello there! My name is Beka and I\'m very excited to work for you and help care for your children! I\'m a Level 1 CCA in Alberta and I have a love like no other working for children. I\'ve worked with children most of my working life and plan on becoming a Child Psychologist after University. I\'m not currently in school, not until next fall, so that isn\'t a worry about scheduling. I moved here to Edmonton over a year ago and have loved this city so much. I\'m still exploring and learning new things about it everyday ad I\'d be more than happy to share this city with your child(ren) for field trips, park trips, and more! My experience with children started when I began babysitting at the age of 11. Since then I've been working in the Daycare field for over two years. My most recent employment was at a Daycare in downtown Edmonton working as a Level 1 Child Care Assistant mainly with 3-4 year olds. I've worked with children as young as 10 months and up to 11 year olds. In my last employment I was reasonable for program planning every other week for the children. I've created field trips, science experiments, Mothers/Fathers day celebrations, and helped create a Christmas concert. I've helped care for special needs children, but nothing one-on-one, although I would love the opportunity. I've been to workshops and child care conferences throughout the year here in Alberta and I feel I have a lot to bring to the table.
