Hello there! My name is Jacquelyn and I am a student at the University of Toronto working towards a degree in language education and teaching. I have experience with children as a camp counsellor in Shawinigan, Quebec and as a volunteer educational assistant in the Ottawa Carleton school board with individuals who are visually impaired. I really enjoy working with children. I am always amazed and fascinated by the intelligence of children. There is always something to learn from them. I tend to share a lot of the same interests as children as I still enjoy watching cartoons and Disney movies. I like to play outside and do active activities such as going to the park, as a camp councillor I would often go out to a little water park, and the children would often ask me to play some cute game they made up. On my free time I do a lot of volunteering with my university and NGOs like Habitat for Humanity and World Vision. I really enjoy community engagement. I look forward to hearing from you.
