Hello! Tansi! Bonjour! I am a 33 year old professional educator. I currently teach in Regina. I am interested in working part time or on a casual basis. I am a hardworking, responsible, reliable, attentive, and outgoing professional! I love working with children and I believe that every child is unique and in order to reach children, we must build relationships - not just look at a childcare job as a pay cheque. I have lengthly experience working with children of all ages in all settings. I am an open minded individual who wants to provide the best care for your child(ren)! I have worked with children of all ages from newborn to 14 years old. My educational background has provided me with the experience to plan activities (educational and non-educational) for children from baby stage to age 14, supervise children of all ages, plan excursions, work with EAL children, experience working with children who have disabilities and disorders and to work in a formal and non-formal setting. I have previous work experience as a supervisor and summer program worker with Regina Open Door Society. I was responsible for planning activities, arranging transportation, encouraging and facilitating safety practices, writing observations, supervising excursions, supervising and managing staff members, working with EAL families and children and building relationships within the community. I possess experience working with at-risk youth at a summer day camp. I possess a First Aid/CPR "C" certificate and I have completed numerous professional development courses pertaining to ECE, at-risk youth, etc. I volunteered at the YWCAs Big Sister Program. I volunteered for a year and a half with the organization and acted as a mentor to a "little".
