Hello Potential Family! I am very excited to tell you a bit about myself and I am looking forward to learning more about you. I have 10 years experience working with kids age 0-12. I have my Bachelor of Social Work degree, child care level 3 supervisor certificate, first aid/cpr, criminal record check and drivers license. I have taken various courses in regards to child development as well. I am comfortable and confident working with children through all developmental stages and have experience in most transitions such as learning to talk, walk, potty training, tantrums and homework. I am an energetic and nurturing caregiver who loves to connect individually with each child and find what interests and works best for that child. I believe each child is different and requires an approach curtailed to their own specific needs and personality. I also believe in learning through play and recognize that each moment can be more than just what it looks like on the surface. I enjoy being creative and finding new and exciting activities to engage in with children. Some of these activities range from crafts to sports to outings. I look forward to meeting your family! I am comfortable with diapering, toilet training, bottles, naps, meal prep, light housekeeping duties to name a few. I enjoy taking children on outings (library, playgroups, park, etc). Some activities I would engage in with children include crafts, baking, imaginary play, building, various toys, reading books, games (both indoor and outdoor), sports activities and music activities.
