Experienced Nanny Class level C CPR and first aid training Completed babysitters training program Clean Drivers licence Highschool diploma Sociology and Psychology diploma enrolled at Uvic earning a BSc majoring in Psychology Volunteer work that includes reading to children and organizing girl scouts in a clean up project Hello! I am a third year university student majoring in psychology (hopefully someday child psychology). Last spring I graduated from lethbridge college with a diploma in psychology and sociology. While attending college I played on the women's volleyball team earning an athletic scholarship. This experience taught me many life skills including how to stay in the right shape to keep up with young children! I have a great passion for working with children and I would love to bring my enthusiastic personality to your home. I am comfortable with light house work, cooking, pet care, and driving. I have previously worked as a full-time nanny for two little girls ages 1 and 3. This was a fantastic experience for me and I am still very close with the family. I preformed tasks such as: baby wearing, cooking, light cleaning and all necessary childcare routines. My second nannying opportunity was a live in position in Saint John New Brunswick. I was responsible for one 11 year old boy with a very active lifestyle. My responsibilities included: organizing and supervising play dates and outings, planning and preparing family meals, pet care, house work, driving to and from sporting events, scheduling, grocery shopping, and ensuring the safety and supervision of many children at once while in and around water. This took place over the course of two months this last summer. The family dynamic only required a nanny for the boy's summer vacation from school. I am also still in touch with this family and hope to return next summer if the opportunity arises. I am now seeking a part time nannying position while I attend university in hopes of forming a lasting relationship with a family while earning some extra cash to help pay tuition.
