Hello parents and guardians! My name is Beka, and I've very excited to be your child/ren's potential caregiver! I am from a small town in Manitoba of only 1500 people, and I am very excited to be moving out to Edmonton! I have been working with many different children over many years. From my own family members to children at our local Daycare, I have been having the time of my life around kids. My future career path is with children in the field of psychology so I find that working with children for many years and continuing with this path will help me develop for school! I am more than happy to answer any questions or concerns from parents/guardians. I look forward to meeting you and your family! I've been babysitting since I was 13 for the many different families in my small town. For the time of February-May 2012, I volunteered for our local Daycare, then from June to the end of August, I was employed with said Daycare. I've worked with children as young as 4 months to being as old as 10 years. I've watched over pets and have owned three different animals myself; a Shitzu, long haired Tabby, and right now a 110 lbs Border Collie/Great Dane mix. I've been cooking for two years as well with previous and current jobs, so I am more than willing to do food preparation for the children I am looking after.
