Job Description: Hi there my name is Tanya. I am looking for a nanny to come work out of our home in Nanoose Bay, B.C. My boys are both young 1-3. My 3 year old is delayed in his speech, so there is some frustration that comes with this. The ideal candidate would have the patience that’s needed to work with young children this age. We live in nature and love to get outside, so ideally someone that enjoys being outside daily as well. We have two English Bulldogs, so having someone that is comfortable around dogs is a must, however I would not have the expectation of you walking them. I would only ask that you fed them. My expectations would be to have some help with light housekeeping (helping keeps floor and windows clean and laundry done). I like to keep my home fairly tidy. Helping with potty training is a must. I work online, so I will be stepping away from the home durning your work hours for the most part, so I can find some quite time to work. I am hoping to find someone that would be open to working 3 day shifts, and 2 evening shifts ( ending around 8pm or 9pm). I take international calls and so I need to be able to open up my schedule to my international clients. The boys dad works away, so he is not present all that often, so someone that could relieve me in the evenings sometimes would be a huge asset. I’m very flexible when it comes to work hours as I am my own boss and make my own schedule. We would be willing to provide live in accommodation, and being that we live in a rural area ( we are 20 minutes outside of Nanaimo or Parksville) having a vehicle would be a huge asset.
