Nanny in Victoria, British Columbia

Hello! My name is Shayla and I am a 23 year old University of Victoria graduate. I have just recently completed my Bachelors in Elementary Education and have a passion for our World\'s future generations! Iam a very fun and outgoing person in nature who is always joking around and making people laugh. I have seemed to always have a connection with children as I grew up in a house with a built-in daycare. Iam very excited to enter education in the following school year as a Teacher on Call. I plan on going back to University to complete a Summer program which will help me specialize in Kindergarten, but I have a very strong love for the older grades as well. I have no prior experience in \"nannying\" but it is something I have always been interested in. I have been babysitting for about 10 years, and have been the primary caretaker in my Mother\'s daycare on occasions, for kids age 1-4. I have professional experience with children ages 1-12. Because of my education, I have many ideas with crafts and activities that fit developmental needs for children at specific ages. I also have a very good management skills from keeping everyone in my eye sight, to conflict issues between children/siblings. My mother has a daycare that I have spent time in since I was a child myself. Durring emergencies, I have taken my mothers job and have ran the daycare myself, as well as worked in it. I have just completed my Bachelors in Elementary Education. I have done 3 Practicas, one that was art based, another in a grade 5 classroom and one in a Kindergarten. I volunteer at Lake Hill Elementary school as well as others. Due to this I have had experience with many different activities with a very large group of kids. My management is up to par with organization and making sure I have tabs on all my students at all times.
