Nanny in Ladysmith, British Columbia

Hello, my name is Rebecca. I am currently a full time student at Vancouver Island University, looking for summer employment during my break, though would also be open to some part time work leading up to a full time summer position starting in April. If you are looking for someone to spend some one on one time with your kids this summer, I would be very interested in being that extra hand. I am a positive and pleasant person to interact with. I love children and I've always been comfortable spending time with them. I have a brother and sister ages 4 and 6, so I have first hand experience taking care of them, teaching them and playing with them. Some of my hobbies/interests include singing, guitar, knitting, various arts and crafts, hiking, reading, traveling. My family is very important to me. I like the outdoors and enjoy being creative. Take care. Oldest of 5 children, youngest are 6 and 4. Played the older sister in the fullness of the title. I've worked for the past year as a nanny with a little girl(4) and her brother(16months). I drive her to and from various commitment like skating club and birthday party's. I do various odd jobs around the house including housekeeping and some food prep. I am a youth leader at a local church, working mostly with high school students. I plan and facilitate youth evenings that involve games and discussion. I traveled to Quebec and worked at a large day care for 6 weeks. My job was mostly playing with the children and aiding the day care worker.
