Hello! 🥰 My name is Mimi. I’m a 24 years old, 4th year Early Childhood Studies student at Toronto Metropolitan University(formerly known as Ryerson). I’m also doing minors in Psychology and Philosophy to advance my knowledge and complement my main area of work! I speak fluent Turkish and English. I’m also currently working on learning French and American Sign Language. I have been working with children for many years. I have experiences working at childcare centres, summer camps, orphanages and many others! My most recent work experience was at the SickKids hospital where I did an internship for Child Life position, which entails working with age groups from 0 to 18 and providing them with support of all kinds! Thanks to my educational background, I have great knowledge about children’s development as well as the flexibility to adjust my practice according to your children’s needs as in my opinion, one size never fits all! I have been told many many times that my personality is the perfect fit for someone who works with children. I’m super upbeat and positive at all times but will also read the room and adjust my energy level to your child’s needs as well! For as long as I can remember I’ve loved spending time with children, whether it be infants, toddlers, preschoolers, you name it! I am located near the Art Gallery of Ontario and not far from various means of public transportation. I have a full G licence which will allow me to drive your loved ones from one place to another if that’s something you’re looking for! I’m free every day after 10.30am as I have my other job before that! I’m mainly looking for a part time position; however, I’m also quite flexible and would be more than happy to further discuss the hours with you based on your needs!
