Hello :) My name is Lisa ! I am a young female adult looking to make some extra money while attending college. I'm taking Business Admin with an accounting concentration at NSCC, beginning again in January. I am very strong in almost all levels of math and have previously 'unofficially' tutored a classmate in this subject. Other school subjects I enjoyed were; spelling, social studies, geography, some sciences, art and drama, and novel reading and analyzing. I'm very creative and would love to help your child the best I can with anything school-related. Connecting with children is first-nature to me, and both the children and I tend to always have fun together, so I've decided to give advertised sitting a go! I have more than enough attention to care for 2/3 children at a time, but I would be willing to discuss details of a larger group if desired. I love pets with fur.. I'm a huge dog lover and I like friendly cats and hamsters, but providing care for most reptiles is a line I don't think I can cross! Basic First-Aid, CPR and Babysitters course were all obtained in the past, but may have expired. I would definitely be willing to renew my CPR and First-Aid, as well as complete a food safety course, for those looking for a long-term caregiver. Most importantly I would like to add that I believe in limited television and engaging activities instead, but always to the parent/gaurdians discretion. As a young teenager I watched my two younger cousins; males, thru approx ages 6-12 in their home. Duties included securing the house, snack prep, bedtime stories and tuck-ins. Throughout the years I have babysat on occasion for other family members and friends-of-family. I am very comfortable with children of all ages, male or female, and I tend to get along with them instantly. My family has grown immensely over the years and therefore I have many lessons learned on age-appropriate games, media, discipline, time-out durations, bed-time tricks and so on..
