Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hello, My name is Lindsey, I am 21 years old. I moved here from Spring Hill, TN, USA in September of 2014 with my husband William who was born in Nova Scotia. I started babysitting when I was fifteen. I love to read and write, and I enjoy singing and playing guitar. I enjoy making a variety of wonderful meals for my family. My previous positions involved child care, and general house cleaning (Laundry, Dish cleaning, Floor cleaning, House Organization). I have worked with children 1-10 years of age. I strive to make sure I am well prepared for all developmental stages medically and psychologically. While in school I majored in Psychology and minored in Sociology at Columbia State, in Columbia, TN. I graduated high school with honours and a 3. 4 GPA, where I participated in the Nursing Program and received my CNA License at Independence High School in Thompson's Station, TN. During my education at Independence High School, I participated in the poetry club, National Honours Society, and HOSA (Health Occupation Students of America) where I competed and made it to Nationals. I strive to provide a safe, yet fun filled environment that encourages imagination and acceptance. Education is a top priority in my work along with providing physical activity and entertainment. My strengths are my empathetic personality, my creative problem solving mentality, along with my strong will and determination to excel in all of my endeavours. I have watched several children at a time during major events such as birthday parties, but prodominently I have watched three children ages ranging from 1-7 years. I was in charge of meals, some housekeeping duties such as cleaning floors and laundry.
