Hello! My name is Joy. I have been working with children for a few years. I have spent the last 7 years helping my sister raise and take care of her son. I have done everything from changing diapers, feeding, bathing, putting him to sleep, reading, writing and entertaining. I love children. I am currently in a yoga teacher training program and will soon be certified. It is a part of my path to teach children\'s yoga, which is very beneficial to kids of all ages. I see and feel a lot of magic in children, I connect with them on a deep level of understanding. Taking care of children comes naturally to me, it brings me so much joy being in their presence! I have experience from helping my sister raise her son from when he was about 5 months to now age 7. I have done everything from changing his diaper, feeding him, bathing him, putting him to sleep, entertaining him with different activities such as making art, playing with lego, baking, taking him outside into nature, reading and writing. I also would take him to birthday parties, where we would spend the day playing with other kids. I used to work at a high school in the science department as a lab assistant. The teachers would bring in their kids from time to time and I would look after them while they taught. I love children, I feel like I connect with them really well. I have a huge inner child which allows me to come into relation with them. Having that connection allows me to help children flourish from a creative nature while simultaneously teaching them self reliance and responsibility.
