Hello! I want to use my creativity, past experiences, and skills as a recent grad of the Elementary Education program to pursue work in a childcare position this summer. I am hardworking, reliable, and full of energy and great ideas :) I look forward to meeting you! I have worked with children in a few different capacities and am currently pursuing a degree in elementary education in order to become a teacher! I have taught swimming lessons during my time working as a life guard, and have worked in after-school care with elementary age children. I have also done a lot of babysitting for friends and family. I have babysat for a family with small children before, but the majority of my babysitting experience has been with children at the elementary age. I have worked in a summer camp and day camp setting, as a camp counselor, and have completed practicums throughout my degree in elementary education, which has allowed me to teach children in grades 5/6 as well as grades 2/3. Some of my most enjoyable moments working with children are in smaller group settings or in a summer camp environment.
