Hello, families! I am Lorrainne, a registered nurse in the Philippines. My employment as Au pair to one-year old twins in Switzerland ended in December 2014. Having experienced caring for toddlers, I have learned how to handle screaming babies and I\'ve got lots of patience in mealtime and bedtime struggles. I am available to work again in January 2015 after the Christmas and New Year holidays. I am a culturally-sensitive person. I respect everyone regardless of his/her cultural, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds. I love to travel and discover new places, taste new food, meet new people, and learn new language/s. My hobbies include sketching/drawing, strolling/hiking, and reading books. I can cook but only Filipino dishes. However, I am willing to learn new dishes. Regarding pets, I love cats and dogs. I am a registered nurse in the Philippines. Im my three-month experience in the hospital, I cared for patients of a variety of ages. I was also a part-time private English and academic tutor to Korean children aged 12, 13, 15 and 16. My most recent experience with kids is being an Au Pair to one-year old twins in Switzerland. My employment as Au Pair ended in December 2014. As Au pair, my duties include playing with the twins to keep them active, keeping them safe in the absence of their parents, teaching them new words, feeding them, putting them to sleep, and strolling them outside when it is not raining. I also do light household chores like vacuuming and mopping the floor, doing the dishes in the kitchen, babies' laundry, making babies' beds, and preparing simple meals (e.g. steamed veggies, steamed rice, pasta with tomato sauce, sliced fruits) for the kids.
