Hello dear family, My name is Kyoka and I was born in Japan. I came to Ontario in grade 10 and graduated from high-school as an honors student for two subsequent years. In Japan I occasionally took care of a disabled 9year old girl. I also volunteered at a Sunday school for 6 years, where I provided guided activities for children ages 3 to 10. In Scotland I took care of the 4year old daughter of my mother's friend. I completed the Foreign Caregiver Training at TLC Edmonton and the program includes training in the following areas: Cooking, Nutrition, Safety, Child Development, Guiding Young Children, CPR/First Aid, and Communication, as well as a volunteering opportunity in a daycare in Edmonton. I love the work with children, because it provides me with an opportunity continuous learning. I am responsible, outgoing, creative, flexible and dedicated to my work. In the class I usually taught crafting, practice singing and play with them for Christmas and help them eating. Also, I babysit a four year old girl in Scotland. I cooked or prepared her breakfast and took her walk after preschool. In the free time, I drew picture and played board game with her and I read some books before she sleep every night. After I moved to Canada, I am volunteering in a preschool to helping eating, dancing, reading and drawing with the children.
