Hello. My name is Sarah, I am 20 years old. I am very passionate about working with children and ensuring that they receive the best quality of development possible. I have taken many Child Development classes over the past few years and would love the opportunity to use my knowledge to assist your family and provide your children with the best opportunities for growth and development. In my spare time, I am an active member of my community. I have been volunteering as a leader at the Youth Ministry at my local church for 7 years, where I supervise and assist in coordinating activities for children in grades 4 through 8. During the school year we hold weekly meetings, as well as organize various field trips and fundraisers. I am also very passionate about humanitarian work; this past summer, I traveled with Live Different: Hero Holiday to Baja, Mexico where I built a house for an amazing family of 7 living in poverty. It was a life changing experience that only further emphasized my beliefs that family and education are the most important things in life. While I have not yet worked as a nanny, I have had many experiences working in childcare. I have held many babysitting positions over the past 6 years, working together with parents to provide a nurturing, loving environment for children to grow. I have worked with children from ages 18 months - 8 years old, where I planned activities for the children, helped with light household maintenance, prepared meals for the children, and assisted with homework when needed.
