Hello! My name is Kate and I am a 25 year old nursing student. Although I am young, I have almost 10 years of experience working with people of various ages and abilities in a supportive role. I also have a psychology degree and experience working with children though my work at day camps, clinical placements, and in my volunteer roles. I am very positive and have a ton of energy to chase around kids all day. My ideal nannying job would include various activities such as arts and crafts, playing outside, teaching baking and cooking skills, assisting with homework, etc. I firmly believe that children should be children and that it is very important to support them in their growth and help them to be successful on their own terms. I enjoy teaching through play and working with children to help them become confident in their abilities. I also have experience working with children with specials needs (ASD, down syndrome, Cri-du-chat, di-george syndrome, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, to name a few).
