Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

Hello! I am a passionate, energetic and professional Early Childhood Educator looking to provide quality child care for your children! I have years of experience and absolutely love working with children. I am seeking employment as a nanny because I want to create customized learning experiences for your children outside of the traditional day care center. I am currently enrolled at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in the Registered Holistic Nutritionist Program. I would love to apply my knowledge of childcare and nutrition to the learning experiences and care I provide for your children! At the age of 12 I began caring for multiple families within my neighbourhood. I became a summer time nanny to a family of 2 young girls aged 4 and 6. Throughout high school I maintained a nanny for three families as my primary job, two of the families with three children aged 2-8. During high school I participated in a Junior Kindergarten Co-op. After graduating, I participated in 9 month volunteer trip where I volunteered in a daycare for 3 months in Alberta with infants and toddlers. I am graduating from the Early Childhood Program at Algonquin College this April. Over the past two years I was placed at 3 different child care centers working with children aged 15 months to 8 years old. My first placement hired my over the summer of 2012 through HRSDC. I am also currently enrolled with the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition to obtain my Registered Holistic Nutritionist(RHN) designation. I am extremely passionate about providing quality childcare, offering enriching and exciting learning experiences. My child care experience over the years has taught me how to create age and developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children of all ages. I am choosing a position as a nanny at this point in my life because I want to offer more then a "daycare" experience for your children. By being able to work one-on-one with your children, I am able to create learning experiences based off of your children's current interests.
