Hello, I am a recent graduate from Concordia. I have a obtained a masters in Creative arts therapies ( Drama therapy option) over a two years training. My training to become a drama therapist included 800 clinical hours where I had the chance to intervene with kids and adults in different contexts. I am currently working part time with women victim of domestic violence and their kids. In fact, my training as a therapist allowed me to gain knowledge about the separation anxiety that many kids experience when the parents leave the house. I thus offer many creative activities inspired from creative arts therapies to help contain the kids anxiety and to redirect their focus toward an activity. In addition, I can sit with the parents and provide specific techniques to ease the separation process. I believe the baby sitting experience should offer a creative learning experience to both the kids and the parents. Some of the activities I offer while baby sitting: Painting, mask making, drawing, story makinh and story telling, enactment of cartoon scenes,... I have worked with kids in different contexts: 1- Baby sitting ( age: 5-12) 2- Acting Coah ( Age: 7-12) 3- Drama Therapy with kids victim of abuse ( Age:5-12) 4- Animating workshops for kids with cancer ( Age: 5-14)
