Hello! My name is Megan and I am a psychology student at Trent University. I am a super, fun-loving person who has lots of energy to keep up with kids! I am from a very big family and have always enjoyed taking care of my cousins as well as family friends\' children and attained my first babysitting degree at 10 years old so I could continue caring for little ones. From 2005-200... I taught Martial Arts to children ages 4 and I must say it was the best job I\'ve had so far. I have babysat and tutored ages 2-12 over the last 13 years and am now studying psychology to become a counsellor or child-caregiver. My favourite courses have pertained to childhood and adolescence development as I am interested in eventually working with children who have conduct disorders. I would love to become a nanny or babysitter as I am hoping to gain more experience working with children of different ages and getting to know more lovely little (big) personalities! At the age of 15 I became an assistant instructor at Quest Martial Arts and taught children ages 4 as well as adults. I was a Demo instructor in 2005 and was in charge of maintaining order and teaching 20 students at a time. I also organized 2 fundraisers for multiple families to attend. I babysat two of my martial arts students for 5 months (2 boys, ages 7 & 10) before the family moved away in 2006. I tutored a 10 year old during the summer of 2009, as well as babysitting/house-sitting during summer days. I have a large family (my mother has 6 siblings) and I have cared for many of my younger cousins throughout the years. I was a resident advisor in charge of the safety and happiness of 150 students on my floor (ages 17 ) from 2009-201... .
