I became quite comfortable working with children and would often care for my nieces and nephews, ranging from newborns to age 10. In high-school I took Early Childhood Services and Early Childhood Education, where we were on site with children ranging in ages from 3-12. From these classes I learned to lead children in structured activities and lessons that were ability based. During our interactions with children, we constantly observed them with a keen and watchful eye, and completed developmental assessments that were fundamental to a child's development.
