Hello, My name is Katlyn. I am caring and compassionate and I love children. I am 26 years old and live in Bowmanville with my fiancé. I grew up outside Belleville on a dairy farm as the eldest of four children, and I can\'t wait to have my own children one day. I am involved with the Salvation Army\'s Toy Drive, and am on a list of potential egg donors with an organization for couples wih fertility difficulties. I believe that being involved in a child\'s life is one of the most important things a person can do; that they need one-on-one attention, someone to teach them right from wrong, to be given the opportunity to explore and be creative, and to make mistakes and be able to learn from them. During the summer of 2011 I cared for a family of five girls; 8 year old identical twins, a 5 year old, a 2.5 year old, and an 18 month old with severe Cystic Fibrosis. Each day I was responsible for arranging activities for the children (everything from a trip to the beach to making and playing with homemade play-doh), caring for their Poodle puppy and canary, administering medications and performing therapies for Cystic Fibrosis, changing diapers, preparing lunches and sometimes dinners, light housework (laundry, vacuuming, tidying), and occasionally getting the children ready for and putting them to bed.
