Hello! My name is Madeline Chamberlin and I am a mathematics student at Concordia University. I am an avid snowboarder, runner, and hiker and I love all things outdoors! My true love for childcare was fostered while counseling and coaching at two action sports camps. My favorite things to do with kids are anything and everything active. I pride myself in my ability to create a fun (but safe!) environment through many outdoor activities no matter the weather! I recently graduated from high school as valedictorian, and I can help with school work in most subjects. I love to cook, can do laundry, and any other housework! My experience with children includes working as a counselor at two different action sports over night camps. My duties there included daily activity planning and coaching, meal time coordination, light housework, and over night care. I was a singular counselor in a cabin with 17 young girls aged 10-16. Prior to these experiences I have babysat in my community for years, including ages 3-12. I have also volunteered at the Special Olympics winter games for the past five years, acting as a one-on-one coach for high-functioning children with special needs.
