My name is Susana, I have always felt extremely natural with children. Growing up my mother was a babysitter, Kids were always around me at home, because I was the oldest; I assisted and cared for the children. As I grew up it was only natural to land in the same business. Some of my strengths are that I’m bilingual in English and Spanish & I speak a fair amount of French. I also studied a fair amount of Sign Language from different countries including (ASL, LSC, LSE) I’ve worked in the deaf community and I’ve also been exposed to children with different disabilities and helping there needs. I am very artistic and energetic I use this to help children strengthen there abilities and explore there creativity. I also have housekeeping experience along with cooking and nutrition. I have been in childcare employment since early 2007 between travelling and volunteering, working with children in countries of need. I have also organized events in which children participate in artisitic and theatrical arts. I also studied a Secondary program (parenting program/early childhood development). In this course I practiced and studied the basics of early childhood parenting, education and development. I also studied (hospitality and tourism) which teaches you the basics of managing a kitchen along with preparing nutritional meals. I am passionate about life and everyone I meet.
