Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Hi! We are a lovely family of four looking for some help sharing the load in the late afternoon and into evening. Hours would be approximately 3-6pm Monday to Friday but we're somewhat flexible if we find the right person. About us: we are two parents working from home for the foreseeable future, plus a smart, highly energetic five year old boy and his bright, nearly-three-year-old younger sister. We are playful, highly engaged parents who simply have too much on our plates with work, kids, pandemic stress and household management. About you: you bring positive energy and creativity, experience with kindergarten and preschool-age kids, meal prep skills and the flexiblity required to work with us day to day in managing the chaos of life with young kids :). You're proactive in preparing crafts/activities that align with the kids' interests and abilities. Reliability and good communication are key. About the work: Ideally you arrive at our house about an hour before we pick up the kids, do some tidying and light housework and some meal prep. If you have cooking skills so much the better, we'd absolutely love to shre the load of actual cooking sometimes. Once the kids arrive you shift to keep them engaged until dinner time, and that's it until the next day. We are not currently anticipating a need to do school/daycare pickup but that may change, both are within walking distance. We are located in Danforth East, north of Danforth between Greenwood and Coxwell. Everyone 5 years old and up has all the vaccination shots they are eligible for, but we do have one preschooler so COVID protocols are very important to us. Pay starts at $18/hr but is flexible in accordance with experience.
