Having just returned home from working at ontario's largest summer day camp as one of the camp office supervisor's.   I had an opportunity to utilize the skills I had acquired over the years caring for children.  I discovered that there was something new to learn every day. In believe that every child is different and i think to take care of them well you need to understand the person that they are.  Children need activities: playing, creating and laughing, but the also need rules and discipline.   Working with children on a one to one basis also contributes to my educational path which is "Community Recreational Development". Growing up in a household with a home daycare and having completed my babysitting course at a young age I naturally started caring for children when I was very young.  Over the years I have cared for children from newborn to pre-adolescent and ranging from one to four children at a time.  I have experienced a multitude of responsibilities including but not limited to,  toilet training, summertime mother's helper, homework assistance, after school supervision, completely running a household of three children, along with being one of several camp office supervisor's at day camp, this past summer.
