Nanny Job in North York, Ontario

Hi Wonderful People!!! We don't care one bit about paper qualifications or even experience - we care deeply about someone who really loves kids, someone who deeply believes in their worth and capability, someone who can be a fully present mentor and role model of emotional stability, self acceptance, and respectful coexistence. Bonus points if they're kinda interesting with some neat ways to engage and stimulate little brains and bodies. Extra bonus if they want to stay with a family for 5 years. We have 2 lovely, energetic, sweet, chaotic little boys (6 and 3) and a baby girl and we need someone who wants to work as part of a very loving family committed to gently helping them grow. We’re looking for someone right away to start the transition - we'll need full-time 9-5ish nanny care (but with hours flexible for you as needed), mostly for the 3yo (the 6yo is in school and the little one is in mama’s arms while I’m on mat leave). We can work with you on your needs in the short and long terms - we have the luxury of decent flexibility and want to find the right person who can care for our kids for a few years. We are super gentle and respectful parents - we dont need a disciplinarian or sleep trainer, we need someone who understands kids’ brain development and psychological needs for affectionate connection and unimpeded exploration and who wants to love them and become a third parent and part of the family. We're located a 2 minute walk from Glencairn subway stop, in a house that has all you could need to keep the kids busy on days you don't go out on an adventure. We're happy to fund adventures and our previous nanny used to take our big kid to libraries, gymnastics, the ROM day program, music classes, Zumba for kids, etc. I'm sure our previous nanny would be a reference if you wanted to speak to someone about how we work as a family. We have jobs that let us come and go as needed within reason. We can offer competitive pay, vacation time, sick days, and are very accommodating of your normal human stuff.
