Start date: February 2018 Hours: M-Tues-W from 4:00pm - 6:00pm opportunity for more evening/weekend hours at times Roncesvalles We are a gregarious family of five who needs support with preparing dinners and engaging with our kids after school. Woot! We have three children, one girl (12) and two little boys (8 & 10). I enjoyed being home with our children for 10 years and they've enjoyed the space and nurturing that comes with having a parent at home full time. Now I have a wonderful job as a Trip Planner in Italy & Spain and need some support. I believe there is a lovely soul out there who could swoop in to beautifully support our current rhythm. We're looking for a warm, trustworthy person who genuinely adores children and feels an ease with our family/style. Ideally, this person is part Mother Theresa, part chef, part teacher, part snack extraordinaire, part nature lover, part comedian, and part kitchen cleaning fairy. Primary responsibilities include afterschool pick up, dinner prep, kitchen clean up and potential shuttling kids to after school activities (usually on foot or TTC). Our kids go to French school, so having French is a major bonus (though not mandatory.) We are more creative than we are tidy, and more active and verbal than we are still and quiet. We love simple and delicious meals (still working on developing more adventurous eaters). We believe there is great potential here to introduce an new, important role model for our kids. Ideally, the part-time nature of this opporunity is sustainable with your current life. Both my husband and I are travel researchers, so we each travel a few times a year.
