Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

I'm an
Individual
We are a family of five (plus one great dog) who are looking for regular help with our three girls. We have fraternal twins, who are 2 years old, and a first grader. It is easy to be overwhelmed by the upkeep and daily responsibilities of caring for our twins without the extra help of family. Our previous nanny went back to school this year, and we'd love to find a suitable replacement. Primarily, we are looking for someone to pick-up 2-4 shifts during the week (usually late afternoon to early evening and no longer than 5/6 hours). We need a pair of extra hands (possibly take the girls out for a walk or to the park) while we pick up our eldest/help her with homework, rest, catch up with housework, or attend to any projects (we sometimes work from home). Ideally, we'd love this person to be available should a period of bad health pop up (one of us has a chronic illness that can sometimes restrict weight bearing activity) or even for an occasional date night. We don't expect any heavy housework, but we would like our new nanny to be able to heat up meals, keep the kids area tidy, and help with bath time. We are a hardworking family with a sense of humour. Both of us have worked in the entertainment field and in the service industry. In other words, we know what it is like to work for people to make ends meet and will always treat anyone who works with us with the respect and kindness they deserve. We take most things in stride and aren't married to a particular parenting style. It would be great if you've worked with two younger children at once or even have experience with twins. However, if you are looking to build up your resume (having experience working with multiples is a good way to do that), are a quick study, and we like your personality—we would be happy to work with you. We do have a swimming pool in our building, so if you are able to swim, that would be a plus (but is by no means a deal breaker, just a nice option to have).
