Good Morning/Afternoon Families, I am not going to offer some phoney story as to why you should pick me, although I will give you a brief background of my experience with children. As I have had some experience on and off through my life babysitting family and family friends, the extent of my child interaction comes from an educational background. I spent approximately 6 months teaching english to Thai orphans in Thailand when I was 16. This had a huge impact on my life and made me see the world in a different perspective. Further, I spent a couple summers working for the district school board and assisted children with the development of their reading and writing skills. Being the first one to see the progress that they make, and receiving that hug when they have done something that makes them proud is truly a rewarding feeling.
