Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

NOTE: Only taking on part-time/ occasional work currently I'm from Port Elgin, a small town right on Lake Huron. As a teenager, I was a frequent babysitter for several families in the area and also worked for a summer as a full time for a three-year-old and her baby brother. I've always loved working with children. In November I graduated from the Carleton journalism program with a degree in journalism. I'm currently working as a music teacher at Barrhaven Music Academy and part-time as a sales associate at a toy store. I'm looking for full or part-time employment to supplement the work I already do. As a nanny, I'm eager to encourage a love of reading and storytelling in any child. I love painting, drawing and making crafts. I also love music. I play guitar and piano, sing, and write songs. I'm currently working on a collection of children's songs about endangered animals. I have my Grade 9 Royal Conservatory vocal certificate and I'd be more than happy to include basic singing lessons as a part of my nannying services. I currently teach music lessons to children between the ages of 3 and 11. I look forward to hearing from you!
