Nanny Job in Kitchener, Ontario

Here are some details about our family and what we are looking for: The role: We are looking for a part-time nanny/mother's helper who can help out with our 3-year-old daughter at least three times a week for 4-5 hours at a time. Someone who can give at least a year commitment is preferred, however I understand that this isn't always possible. Duties will be primarily childcare, and may include some light house-keeping as we are expecting a second baby in the next 6 weeks. Our family: We have a sweet, and wonderful daughter who has a big, and hilarious personality. She enjoys staying around the house, but I would love if you would be comfortable with take her to the park/library/early years centre etc. We will be homeschooling our children so someone who enjoys teaching young children and helping them to explore their world would be a good fit. Spending time outdoors is also very important to us, so you would have to be willing to do that as well. We practice attachment parenting/positive discipline, and are looking for someone who is kind and gentle natured. We follow a plant-based vegan diet, and practice compassion and awareness toward our environment. We live in downtown Kitchener, so someone who lives close by or uses public transit would be a good fit. Best of luck on your search! Jess
