Nanny in Toronto, Ontario

Hello! My name is Jessika, and I am a nanny living in Markham. I have 6 years of childcare experience, and am CPR and First Aid certified. I have nannying experience with toddlers and school aged children, and for the past two summers I was also a counsellor at a day camp for children ages 5-12. There I planned and led daily camp activities, including arts and crafts, sports, drama, and music. I supervised and ensured children's safety during the daily program, mealtime, and field trips. I have also volunteered the past three years at a week-long overnight camp in Muskoka, where I counselled girls ages 12-15. I co-managed the camp's sports programming, and supervised and engaged the campers (in particular those aged 6-10) in activities. For the past few years I have volunteered in my church's Sunday school program, where I care for children ages 2-5, doing crafts and supervising snack time. In the Sunday school program I occasionally provide support for three young children with autism. I also volunteered as an assistant at a March-break music therapy day camp for children with Down syndrome and autism. I'm warm, kind, and love to laugh. I am creative, and love coming up with games and activities for children. To see them grow as individuals is so rewarding!
