Nanny in Vancouver, British Columbia

Hola my name is Valeria (Val) I'm from Mexico and I'm 34 years old. I’m looking for the right fit where both myself and the family can create a bond and work together as a team. I’ve been a nanny for many years and I have recently completed my ECE diploma. I have 12 years of experience with a wide age range of children, from new born to 12 years old. I've worked with over 5 different families over the past 8 years and have been really happy with each of the families. I can say that they were really happy with me as well. I've created a great relationship with both children and parents and still keep in touch with all the children I've looked after. I absolutely love what I do and what the nanny/educator job entails. I can work great under considerable pressure. I've worked with groups of 15 children in summer camps and also have worked with one at a time and I find every experience very rewarding. I love to go on adventures, discover nature, have a quiet day at a lake, stay indoors or just a simple trip to the park to run around and have fun. I'm a very happy and fun person but I can also set limits when needed. I always try to explain things to children rather than doing it all for them, I like helping them be independent and capable of doing things themselves. I’m looking for a full-time or a part-time job (Some flexibility for my other on-call job will be needed. Could be 1 or 2 days a week or sometimes no calls at all in a week.) My on-call job usually gives me lots of time in advance for when they will need me so arranges can be made ahead of time. I like to fully dedicate my time to the children, therefore I only do child related household duties and the areas we use. That being said, I’m extremely clean (a bit of a neat freak :P) and I like to keep the environment where I work very organized and tidy.
