Nanny in Vancouver, British Columbia

I have recently moved to Vancouver from Ireland and looking forward to working with a family to provide a wholesome family environment. I have a bachelors degree in Social Care Practice and Applied Social Studies which includes modules of Child Development, Psychology, Art and Drama. In my last employment I worked in a residential home for young people in care providing 24 hour care. My role was to care for children and young people who had been taken away from their families, to provide them with support and most importantly provide a new loving home environment. Through care, affection and creativity I believe a happy home was created under unhappy circumstances. We provided a home environment by preparing wholesome meals, play, helping with homework, encouraging extra curricular activities and peer engagement, day trips and activities and most importantly emotional support. I also have experience providing home support for a young boy with autism. A little about myself: I'm 27 years old, a hardworking, responsible and energetic person who likes to keep active through activities, games and outings. I enjoy music and cooking, also I'm currently developing my baking skills so... hopefully I can master the craft in your home! I'm very flexible with my availability and open to part time or full time hours. I have always loved working with children and always aim to provide a fun, loving and educational environment for the future influential minds of this world.
