Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

My name is Kaila. I am an active 25 year old who has extensive experience in child care. I have 6 years of full time and part time nannying experience to children ranging from newborn to 12 years old. I have an Education degree from the University of Calgary (specializing in Early Childhood Education), and have been teaching since May. I will be teaching Kindergarten in the fall. I am currently looking for evening and weekend work. I also have full day availability on Monday’s until August 10th. I am excellent with children and have exceptional nannying references. I have a passion for working with children and love being a hands-on nanny. I was a competitive dancer for 13 years, and taught ballet alongside a Royal Academy of Dance ballet teacher at Karen Clark Dance Studio in my hometown, Victoria, BC. I have 6 summers of full time nannying experience with multiple families whom I still keep in contact with. The children have been between 1 month and 12 years old. I also nanny part time during the year for a family for 4 years now. Prior to my nannying experience, I have been babysitting children aged new born to 11 years old for 13 years. I also taught English to kindergarten students in Fiji in 2016, and taught ballet in Victoria. I have extensive knowledge on how to provide comfort and care to children of various ages. My typical day as a nanny includes taking children to and from activities/sports, meal prep, light housekeeping, outings to various parks, pools, and other places around the city, making lunch and adhering to nap schedules, playing games, making arts and crafts, baking, and organizing playdates when applicable. I attended the University of Calgary. I have a Bachelors of Arts degree and an Education degree with an Early Childhood specialization.
