Nanny in Vancouver, British Columbia

Dear Families, My name is Vanessa Smith and I am relatively new to the Vancouver area; however, I bring 3 years of nannying experience with me and am eager to put this to good use. I began working with infants, children, and youth in 2010 when I worked at a camp for special needs children ranging from ages 2-18. During this time I had the opportunity to learn about patience, kindness, and the joy that all children bring to their families. After I graduated I moved to France and au-paired for a fantastic family with a 16-month-old daughter and enjoyed exploring (and eating) delicious food with the family. Once I came home I had the fantastic chance to nanny for a family with two children (12 months and 7 years) and take on various day-to-day chores and activities with the children. This family and I are still very close and I am hoping to find another family that is warm, fun, and open to exploring various parks and playgrounds around the city. Furthermore, my fiance and I are godparents to two of the cutest little red heads you could possibly find and I have learned all kinds of tips and tricks through spending time with them. I am a recent graduate from UVIC's School of Public Health and did extensive course work in child and youth care with some fantastic professors.
