Nanny in Ottawa, Ontario

Hi! My name is Erika and I am a French-Spanish-English Translation graduate. In addition to translation, I am passionate about children! I have been babysitting for about 12 years and have cared for children of all ages from newborns to 12 year-olds. Last year I was a nanny for a 2-child (4 months and 3.5 years when I started with them) family for one year until they moved to Halifax. I worked as early as 6am, fed the kids all meals and snacks, got them up in the mornings and (sometimes) them to bed at night, taught the baby to walk, taught the toddler to read and write, took the children to museums, playgroups and different activities, and overall ensured they had a safe and fun time with me. Most importantly, I established meaningful relationships with both the parents and the children! Currently I work for a family with a 1 year-old and another family with a 3 year-old. I am currently looking for families who need a hand while away on vacation. I love accompanying families and caring for little ones while the parents stay our late!
