Nanny in Hamilton, Ontario

My name is Jill Adamson and I am passionate about working with children and youth. I am currently a grade 1 teacher in the Hamilton School Board. I am available to start working part time in July. I am looking for part time work and a live-out situation. I live in Hamilton; however, I do have a car and am willing to drive if its not too far for me. I have experience working with children from the ages of 4-16. I have experience in a number of different settings including: being a teacher, camp director, educator for an after school program, support staff in an outdoor school, section director, camp counsellor, sparks leader as well as being a ‘Big Sister’. I have gone above and beyond, to reach my high hopes of impacting the lives of children to help them reach their goals. I have been assessed by professionals in the schools I have worked, as a person who confidently takes on a leadership role while continuing to work as part of the team. I am also very outgoing, have the ability to adapt to changing work demands, and have an interest in child and youth development.I love the outdoors- hiking, bike riding, going on walks and I love to do crafts as well as cooking! I also enjoy reading whether this is reading a book independently or reading with a child. I look forward to hearing from you!
