Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

Hey my name is Dave. We are a family of four: Mom, Dad and two well-behaved girls ages 7 and 9. We live in the community of Cougar Ridge SW with the girls attending West Spring Elementary and Calgary Academy. We are looking for someone to provide after-school care for our girls (including after school pick-up, drop-off to their various after-school activities and meal preparation) along with house management such as laundry, groceries, cleaning, etc... We are really hoping that this person will become a significant influence in our girls lives by providing a fun and healthy environment along with providing discipline necessary for them to be respectful and kind individuals. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, ideally with hours 11 AM to 7 PM or 10 AM to 6 PM (although we are flexible to a degree but will definitely need someone to be there for after school pickup until we get home from work). General expectations are that you will spend the first part of the day for general housekeeping and cleaning. Then the focus will shift to after school care for the girls, including helping out with homework, dinner preparation, preparation of lunches for the next day and transporting them to their various after-school activities. Your own vehicle is essential for picking up the girls and occasionally buying groceries. It is our hope that we can be mutually flexible with our schedules and routines. We also expect that specifics on duties and timing will evolve over time. We really look forward to having you join us.
